Solution description
The BN Water mobile app is a water-monitoring data-collection and learning tool designed for use by educators and their students, citizen scientists, and researchers.
Bare Native is a bioremediation company that works with global waterways to educate universities, industry and workers about their water quality, the pollutants within it, and to educate them on how to repair it.
The first global app of its kind, we will be able to harvest data from our clients around the world. The database will be sold to our beachhead market of universities and would allow them to have access to it in real-time.
Solution context
Our global water analysis will enable universities to research clean water solutions
Our network of farmers and oceanographers around the world upload their water profile. We test and sample the water quality and upload this onto our app. Universities can access this data for educational purposes.
Our strategic alliances are
Cambridge climate repair
Canterbury Christchurch university
Turin Polytechnica University
And we have future alliances with NOVA school of Science and Technology in Portugal
Solution target group
We increase knowledge for educators and their students, citizen scientists, and researchers
Our app costs $1,000 for each educational facility to buy a licence, which can then be used for free by students and researchers. We want this data to be easily accessible by all, no matter what economic circumstance they come from.
Through mobile devices, the BN Water app includes data entry, identification, and learning features about chemical, physical and biological water-quality parameters.
Solution impact
The BN Water app is backed by a team of highly trained individuals all of whom are leading innovators in the world of green, sustainable environmental issues. Professor Peter Wadhams, Dr Vincenzo Riggio and Dr Cornelia Wilson, along with our lead green energy engineer, Shane Bond, have been working on the field to assess water quality around the world.
Our solution will help people on the ground dealing with water in a bad eutrophic state, to accurately record the pollutants, heavy metls and sewerage problems that are causing fish kills - whether it be in the ocean, rivers, lakes or ponds.
We help support educational facilities to access this data to monitor changing water qualities so that more work can be undertaken at laboratories across the world to find more solutions. a

@bnwater has increased profit for fish farmers by 300% creating clean and safe water for all and supporting livelihoods and protecting marine. eco systems.Solution innovativeness
There is no other app on the global market that can:
- EDUCATE RESEARCHERS AND STUDENTS HOW TO REPAIR WATER
- CREATE AN INCLUSIVE SHARING NETWORK PORTAL THAT HARVESTS ALL WATER DATA IN ONE CONVENIENT APP
Solution transferability
Transferability should be quite easy to maintain, as similar problems for polluted water are experienced around the world. We would need to ensure that the language settings on the app are working sufficiently for all nationalities to access and understand.
Solution sustainability
Our app would be extremely sustainable, as data would be harvested by workers on the field, where they live, where it data can be collected and stored safely so researchers, universities. and students can access real-time data.
Solution team work
Our team is exceptionally placed to help create and monitor this app.
