The teams representing Mexico, Spain and Italy received their awards by Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education, Youth and Sport. Every team got a prize cheque worth 5000 euros and became Digital Education Ambassadors.

The teams got to pitch their solutions to Antoaneta Angelova-Krasteva, the European Commission Director for Innovation, International cooperation & Sport at DG EAC.
She was very excited to meet the teams: “You will be the digital education ambassadors from now on, we count on you! We are already looking forward to the second edition of DigiEduHack, our aim is to attract even more participants and solve many more challenges.”
